Job summary

This position provides professional nursing care, meeting patient, family, and team needs through communication, coordination, and evaluation, with compliance to policies, practices, and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and meet the needs of patients and their families. Communicate and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, evaluate care, and comply with policies, nursing practice standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold current New Jersey nursing licensure and American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS certification is required within six months of hire, and a dysrhythmia course within three months. Enrollment in an accredited BSN or MSN program is required within six months of hire, with graduation by the third employment anniversary; BSN or MSN graduates and specialty certification are preferred, subject to stated grandfathered exemptions.
