Job summary

The role involves building security tools, reviewing application architectures, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security controls across cloud infrastructure, mainly focusing on cloud-native environments, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code, with a strong emphasis on cloud security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Design and build security tools, guardrails, and supply chain controls to ensure cloud infrastructure is operated securely. Partner with engineering teams to develop threat models and remediate vulnerabilities across the entire stack.

Qualifications

Azure or GCP cloud environments IAM Kubernetes Linux internals Networking security PKI Secure software development Security tools Terraform Threat modeling

Requires a strong engineering background with fluency in Python, Typescript, or Golang and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform. Must have a proven track record of scaling security programs in cloud-native environments like AWS or GCP.
