Job summary

Seeking a Field Test Engineer to support offshore testing and operations of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and subsea systems, working hands-on in dynamic maritime environments, planning, executing, and analyzing sea tests, and contributing to system improvements.

Responsibilities

The Field Test Engineer will plan, execute, and analyze at-sea test events for autonomous underwater vehicles and subsea systems. They are responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of maritime platforms in both onshore and offshore environments.

Qualifications

Communications Deployment & Recovery Electronics Troubleshooting Leadership Navigation Systems Robotics Sea Operations Software Debugging Test Equipment

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience operating robotic systems at-sea and possess strong skills in Linux, electronics troubleshooting, and subsea operational procedures. The role requires the ability to deploy globally for up to 50% of the time and the capacity to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
