Job summary

Roblox seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Ads Platform team to design and develop scalable ads systems capable of supporting billions of transactions, collaborate across ML, backend, and analytics teams, and lead projects with a focus on system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Architect and build foundational ads systems and backend services capable of serving Roblox's massive scale. Act as a technical lead to mentor junior engineers and drive performance improvements across ads infrastructure.

Qualifications

Backend Development Distributed Systems Flink Kafka Large Scale Systems Design Microservices NoSQL/SQL Databases Redis REST/GRPC Systems Programming (C#, Go, Rust, Java, C++, Python)

Requires 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in systems programming languages and distributed systems design. Experience with containerized systems, microservices, and data technologies like Kafka and Redis is essential.
