Job summary

AECOM seeks motivated Ports Engineering apprentices to support the planning, design, and development of maritime infrastructure projects. Apprentices will work alongside experienced engineers across various project phases, gaining practical skills in engineering design, analysis, and project management while working towards a recognized qualification.

Responsibilities

The apprentice will support the planning, design, and development of maritime and coastal infrastructure by working alongside experienced engineers. Responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings, models, technical calculations, and assisting with site surveys and project documentation.

Qualifications

3D modelling BIM CAD Collaboration Data analysis Engineering design Problem-solving Project documentation Surveying Technical calculation

Candidates must have at least 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Math and English, and three A-Levels (or equivalent) including Math and a physical science. Applicants must also demonstrate an aptitude for technical software and be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
