Job summary

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and supervising staff. Ensure regulatory compliance, support patient families, and act as a clinical leader in the unit.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse will conduct ongoing clinical assessments, oversee direct nursing care, and administer medications to residents. They will also serve as a clinical leader by coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team and supervising nursing assistants.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Iowa and a current CPR certification. Completion of a state-approved LPN supervisory course or the ability to obtain one within 90 days is also required.
