Job summary

The Construction Site Agent manages site activities within the Water/Waste Water Industry, overseeing heavy civils, excavations, pipework, and building works. The role entails leading construction teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, and managing project schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all site activities, including site personnel and civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation subcontractors, while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Plan and schedule the works, monitor progress and risks, report to project and client teams, manage site documentation and coordination meetings, and support project handover and completion.

Qualifications

Civil Construction Construction Planning Environmental Management Health & Safety Project Management Report Writing Standards Compliance Subcontractor Management Team Leadership Water/Waste Water Industry

Candidates should have a civil or trade background with progression to management and around 10 years of experience on multidisciplinary site-based projects, preferably in water or wastewater. Water treatment plant construction experience is advantageous; a full clean driving licence, strong communication and reporting skills, computer literacy, and preferably IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar are also sought.
