Job summary

The job involves providing patient care in a Med Surg Oncology department, educating patients and families, using electronic resources, developing care plans, identifying changes in patient conditions, mentoring team members, conducting rounds, applying research findings, and participating in practice improvements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, educate families, and develop individualized care plans within the Med Surg Oncology department. They are also responsible for mentoring team members, conducting purposeful rounding, and identifying opportunities for clinical improvement.

Qualifications

ACLS Basic Life Support Clinical Education CPR/BLS Critical Thinking Electronic Medical Records Mentoring NRP PALS Patient Care

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current Maryland State nursing license and at least one year of RN experience. A passing score on the NCLEX and active American Heart Association BLS certification are required.
