Job summary

The HVAC Design Engineer role involves developing, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy of HVAC and building services systems within complex projects, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, supporting compliance with standards, ensuring operational integrity during commissioning, and contributing to risk and safety assessments.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary interface between HVAC design and construction teams to develop, review, and validate detailed specifications. Ensure compliance with standards and support the integration of HVAC systems within broader mechanical and electrical designs.

Qualifications

building services engineering commissioning processes communication skills HVAC design project management software proficiency (Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, load calculation) system integration system performance analysis technical drawings interpretation ventilation and heat load calculations

Requires a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant HVAC design experience. Proficiency in HVAC codes (ASHRAE, CIBSE) and design software like Revit or AutoCAD is preferred.
