Job summary

Capitalize is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend development experience, particularly in Java and JPA, to build APIs, infrastructure, and handle data processes, supporting their platform which modernizes retirement account transfers.

Responsibilities

The engineer will create meaningful product functionality, execute testing, handle development on new product initiatives, design and build APIs, touch data processes, and enhance internal functions to drive the business mission forward. Work involves building APIs and infrastructure to power the platform, focusing on back-end development experience.

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role, demonstrating expertise in modern Java and JPA, along with strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
