A maintenance engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing and packaging lines in a fast-paced food production environment, performing preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring operational standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide technical support across all manufacturing and packaging lines, ensuring optimum equipment reliability and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a time-served engineering qualification and proven experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical fault finding is essential.
