Job summary

Seeking a Water Mains Commissioning Engineer to oversee the safe installation and commissioning of potable water mains in the Severn Trent Water framework. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing testing, disinfection, and network readiness activities, working closely with project teams to ensure successful network integration.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the commissioning of new and replacement potable water mains, including coordinating commissioning plans and flushing strategies. You will also manage pressure tests, disinfection activities, and ensure all assets are safely brought into operation in coordination with project and operational teams.

Candidates should have practical experience in commissioning potable water mains and distribution networks, along with relevant industry qualifications such as EUSR National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water. A strong understanding of hydraulic systems, pressure testing, and safety management (SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH) is required.
