Job summary

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care and supervises nursing assistants to ensure quality care for residents in a long-term care facility. Must be licensed, knowledgeable of healthcare regulations, and preferably experienced in geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants. Follow applicable care standards and regulations while supporting a resident-first, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

I.V. certification long-term care medical practices nursing

Graduate from an approved LPN program and hold a current state license to practice as an LPN. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations is required; geriatric or long-term care experience and IV certification are preferred.
