Job summary

The role involves providing engineering and maintenance services within a hospital, including repair, maintenance, installation, testing, fault finding, and supporting emergency calls, requiring Electrical/Mechanical Engineering skills, relevant qualifications, and experience in building services management.

Responsibilities

The engineer will deliver comprehensive maintenance services across the hospital site, including planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis. They are responsible for ensuring all plant, equipment, and building systems operate safely and in compliance with HTM guidelines.

Qualifications

Building services management Calibration Electrical Engineering Fault finding Installation of plant and systems Mechanical Engineering Planned Preventative Maintenance Prioritisation Repair and maintenance Supporting emergency on-call

Candidates must have completed a recognized apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and hold a City & Guilds or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in building services and a strong working knowledge of plant and building systems are required.
