Job summary

Seeking a Medical Scientist with experience in bacteriology and mycology to process clinical specimens, perform testing, support infection control, and maintain lab equipment in Galway.

Responsibilities

The Medical Scientist will process clinical specimens and perform culture and sensitivity testing while supporting infection control efforts. Additionally, they will maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control.

Qualifications

Candidates must have CORU registration and experience in bacteriology and mycology. Familiarity with MALDI-TOF and automated ID/AST systems is also required.
