Job summary

The Assessment Specialist in Behavioral Health facilitates patient assessments, coordinate referrals and care levels, and documents patient data. Requires clinical evaluation skills, mental health knowledge, licensure in Ohio, and preferably experience with adult and geriatric psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities

Facilitates the initial response, assessment, and referral process for behavioral health services to determine the appropriate level of care. Documents patient symptomology and functioning to provide essential information for medical determinations.

Qualifications

Requires an associate's degree in nursing or a master's degree in social work/counseling along with a valid OH license. Candidates must be CPR and CPI certified or obtain certification within 30 days.
