Job summary

The Mechanical Fitter will work in an assembly team to build, dismantle, and repair pumps, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. The role involves hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, documentation, and potential site support, requiring experienced mechanical fitting skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the assembly, dismantling, and testing of pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within established quality standards. They will also participate in continuous improvement activities and provide support to peers and apprentices.

Qualifications

Assembly Continuous Improvement Dismantling and Reassembly Hydro Testing Mechanical Fitting Performance Testing Quality Inspection Troubleshooting Vibration Testing Work Documentation

Candidates must be time-served Mechanical Fitters with up to 3 years of experience in heavy manufacturing and an understanding of lean techniques. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to obtain security clearance.
