Job summary

Seeking a skilled maintenance engineer for a high-performance food production facility, responsible for equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and process improvements, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

The engineer will provide technical support across manufacturing and packaging lines, focusing on ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime through maintenance and diagnostics. Key duties include executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

Diagnostics Electrical Fault Finding Health & Safety Standards Hygiene Standards Maintenance Mechanical Systems PLC Preventive Maintenance Teamwork Troubleshooting

Candidates must be a time-served engineer or hold an equivalent qualification such as HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline. Essential requirements include proven experience in a fast-moving, semi-automated manufacturing setting, strong diagnostic skills across various systems, and the ability to work a continental shift pattern.
