Job summary

Reddit is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on optimizing ad machine learning models, improving training and inference efficiency, and building scalable tools for model performance and deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead a team focused on making Ads ML model training and inference faster, cheaper, and more scalable. Partner with ranking and platform teams to identify bottlenecks and build reusable efficiency tooling and guardrails.

Qualifications

Distributed Systems GPU Utilization Load Testing ML Optimization Model Debugging Model Serving Model Training Performance Analysis Profiling and Benchmarking System Optimization

Requires deep experience in ML engineering, hands-on optimization of training and serving systems, and proven managerial ability. Proficiency in distributed systems and experience with ads ranking or recommender systems is strongly preferred.
