Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse acts as a patient advocate, providing continuity of care and assessing the needs of adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. They are responsible for implementing goal-directed care plans and performing documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

Admission Assessment Communication Documentation Emergency Response Medical/Surgical Care Nursing Patient Advocacy Patient Care Teamwork

Candidates must hold a valid Texas nursing license and have at least two years of staff nurse experience in a surgical setting with spines and joints. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
