Job summary

Seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a 24-hour weekly role on a 5A Intermediate Care Unit at Christiana Hospital, providing care for complex adult patients, working rotating day/night shifts, with a focus on relationship-based nursing practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will manage a 4-5 patient assignment on a medical intermediate care unit while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for delivering relationship-based care and supporting patients and their families throughout their stay.

Qualifications

Attention to Detail Compassion Critical Thinking Interdisciplinary Collaboration Medication Administration Nursing Patient Advocacy Patient Care Problem-solving Teamwork

Candidates must hold a BSN or an ADN with a commitment to complete a BSN within 3 years. A minimum of one year of acute or sub-acute experience and a current BLS certification are required.
