Job summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance activities, manages staff, and ensures property safety and functionality. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, handling repairs, maintaining records, and managing budgets to ensure high standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train maintenance staff, oversee repairs and preventive maintenance, respond to resident work orders, and inspect the property to maintain safe, compliant, and high-quality living conditions. Manage maintenance budgets, supplies, vendors, contractors, records, and emergency response while keeping property management informed.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 or more years of property management or related experience, hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and the ability to supervise at least two associates. A valid driver’s license is required; HVAC and/or CPO licensing is preferred, along with knowledge of residential environmental hazards, property software, and Microsoft Office.
