Job summary

The role involves providing patient-centered care, collaborating with patients and families, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and educating about treatment and discharge plans in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The professional nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient- and family-centered care while addressing the physical, psychological, and social needs of diverse patients. They collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care and actively participate in quality improvement and safety committees.

Qualifications

Communication Medication administration Nursing Patient care Patient education

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active RN license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. A BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, and previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
