Job summary

The Family Support Specialist provides direct intervention, crisis management, and case coordination to support youth and families as part of a mental health outpatient service. The role involves implementing treatment plans, employing expressive arts and mindfulness techniques, and collaborating with clinicians and community resources.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload and work with clinicians, youth, and families to implement treatment plans through direct intervention, crisis support, and case management. Build behavioral, communication, coping, and problem-solving skills; coordinate community resources; document progress; and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field, plus one year of clinical experience providing counseling and mental health services.
