Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement a foundational data infrastructure for handling massive simulation output data, with emphasis on high scalability, low latency, complex data modeling, and technical leadership in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Architect and build foundational data infrastructure and processing pipelines to handle massive simulation outputs for government customers. Design highly relational data models and scalable batch systems to optimize context surfacing for LLMs.

Qualifications

Backend Development Data Infrastructure Data Modeling Distributed Systems High-Throughput / Low-Latency Processing Information Retrieval Memory Management Parallel Processing Recommendation Systems Systems Programming

Requires 5+ years of senior-level backend or data infrastructure experience with expert proficiency in systems languages like Rust, Go, or C++. Candidates should have a proven track record in high-throughput, low-latency data processing and distributed systems.
