Job summary

Registered Nurse needed to provide direct patient care on CVU floor, with cross-training in ICU, ensuring adherence to nursing standards, documenting condition and treatment, and communicating with patients and families.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse plans and renders direct patient care while maintaining clinical records in accordance with hospital policies and the Delaware Nursing Practice Act. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, implementing nursing actions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient discharge.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active Delaware RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. At least two years of step-down or PCU experience is required, along with BLS certification and the ability to obtain ACLS certification within three months.
