The Senior Software Systems Engineer - Perception will develop system architectures, requirements, and verification plans for perception functions in an autonomous driving technology environment. The role requires designing and building metrics for testing perception software and hardware, analyzing performance data, and acting as a subject matter expert, with a focus on safety and procedure adherence.

Responsibilities

Develop systems architectures, requirements, and verification plans for perception functions within the autonomy stack. Analyze on-car results and prototype tools in Python or C++ to improve perception performance and hardware/software alternatives.

Qualifications

C++ Data Analysis Perception Systems Python Requirements Engineering Software Architecture Systems Architecture Testing and Verification Use Case Development Verification

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's/PhD with less. Candidates must have a proven track record in safety-critical software testing and excellent communication skills.
