Job summary

The role involves managing critically ill ICU patients remotely, performing assessments, developing care plans, ordering tests and medications, documenting thoroughly, and participating in team and organizational quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will manage adult medical and surgical ICU patients via tele-critical care, including assessing conditions and developing treatment plans. They will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and the onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

Critical Care Diagnostics Electronic Medical Record (EMR) ICU Medical Documentation Patient Management Pharmacology Procedures Teamwork

Candidates must be an Acute Care Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least three years of recent critical care experience. Applicants are required to hold active licensure in Wisconsin and Illinois, along with relevant certifications such as BLS or ACLS.
