Job summary

The CVI Technologist supports Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Laboratory procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile environment, assisting physicians, monitoring patients, and following safety protocols in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Support minimally invasive image-guided procedures in Interventional Radiology and cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, assisting physicians, and monitoring patient safety and radiation exposure.

Qualifications

Aseptic Technique Blood and Bodily Fluids Handling Fluoroscopy Patient Monitoring Procedural Assistance Radiation Safety Radiography Sterile Technique

Requires graduation from an accredited radiography or cardiac intervention program and ARRT certification or eligibility. Must obtain ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS/CPR certifications within specified timeframes after hire.
