Job summary

Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, including medication administration, patient procedures, and care coordination, ensuring accurate documentation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during the assigned period, performing procedures within the nursing scope of practice. Administer medications safely, assess patient responses, participate in clinical pathways and care coordination, and complete required documentation.

Qualifications

ACLS Certification BLS Certification Care Coordination Clinical Pathways Critical Care Documentation Medication Administration Patient Procedures RN License

A state-issued RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and one year of RN experience are required; a BSN is preferred and ACLS is preferred. CEN, CCRN, or proof of ECCO is required, or the candidate must sign an agreement to complete the adult Critical Care Course with a two-year work commitment.
