Job summary

Seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and breakdown repairs across the site, identifying root causes and implementing lasting engineering solutions. Support installation and improvement projects, maintain accurate records and technical documentation, and ensure contractors follow safe working practices.

Qualifications

CMMS Systems Continuous Improvement Electrical Engineering Electrical Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Maintenance Preventive Maintenance Process Improvement Safety Protocols Troubleshooting

Applicants should have an NVQ3, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline and 1–2 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience. They should have practical electrical or mechanical maintenance skills, familiarity with CMMS and safety procedures, and the ability to diagnose breakdowns, communicate effectively, and work flexibly.
