Job summary

The role involves providing direct nursing care for neurological patients at Cleveland Clinic, implementing and monitoring care plans, administering medications, educating patients and families, coordinating discharge and ensuring quality care in a specialized neurological transitional care unit.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for neurological med/surg patients in a transitional care unit, implementing and monitoring care plans. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex procedures and facilitate patient discharge and education.

Qualifications

Requires a nursing degree and current RN licensure with at least one year of acute care experience. BLS certification through the AHA is mandatory, and a BSN is preferred.
