Job summary

Provide professional nursing care by applying nursing processes to meet patient, family, and team needs, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Preferably enrolled in or graduated from a BSN/MSN program, with experience in neurology or neuro ICU.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and address the needs of patients and their families. Coordinate and communicate with the multidisciplinary team, evaluate care, and comply with policies, nursing practice standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Critical Care ICU Medical Surgical Neuro ICU Neurosurgery Nursing Patient Care

A current New Jersey nursing license and American Heart Association BLS are required; ACLS, a critical care course, and a dysrhythmia course must be completed within specified periods after hire. Candidates must enroll in an accredited BSN or MSN program within six months of hire and graduate by their third employment anniversary, while relevant neuro or critical care experience and specialty certification are preferred.
