Job summary

Seeking Senior Software Engineers with backend experience to join the Data Platform Team at LILA, focusing on building scalable data systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for scientific data processing and analysis, collaborating closely with scientists, engineers, and ML teams.

Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance APIs and scalable database architectures to support the AI Science Factory. Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists and ML engineers to integrate data pipelines and cloud infrastructure into scientific workflows.

Qualifications

AI/ML Libraries like pandas, numpy, scipy, jax, pytorch API Design and Development AWS Database schema design DevOps Full Stack Development Kubernetes NoSQL Python SQL

Requires 5-8+ years of experience building large-scale backend systems with proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and Python-based web frameworks. Must have experience with orchestration tools and a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
