Job summary

The Reliability Engineer (Electrical) at Lubrizol will focus on asset reliability, maintenance optimization, and long-term equipment performance in a chemical manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include developing reliability plans, conducting risk and failure analysis, supporting maintenance strategies and continuous improvement, ensuring safety and compliance, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve asset performance.

Responsibilities

The Reliability Engineer will develop and implement a 3-year Reliability Improvement Plan to optimize asset performance and maintenance strategies. They will facilitate root cause analysis and leverage condition monitoring tools to reduce risk and improve equipment uptime within a chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Asset Management Condition Monitoring Data Analysis Electrical Engineering Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Infrared Thermography Preventive Maintenance (PM) Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Reliability Engineering Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, and possess at least 5 years of experience in maintenance or reliability within a chemical manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of electrical codes such as NFPA-NEC and NETA, along with proficiency in condition monitoring techniques, is required.
