Job summary

Responsibilities

The paramedic provides direct clinical and technical support to medical staff, assisting with patient care procedures and monitoring patient status in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments within the scope of practice, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications

BIPAP/CPAP management cardiac emergencies clinical procedures EKG IV insertion medication management patient care phlebotomy venipuncture ventilator management

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and hold a current Virginia State Paramedic Certification or National Registry certification. Required certifications at hire include AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
