Job summary
Nemours is seeking a Registered Nurse for our general pediatrics stepdown unit to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This position is full-time, 72 hours biweekly, with rotating or night shifts, including every third weekend and holiday rotation. The unit cares for patients post-surgery, with renal disease, tracheostomy, or ventilator needs. The role requires pediatric nursing experience, a current Delaware license, BLS certification, and a passion for pediatrics.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, intermediate-level nursing care to pediatric patients in a surgical stepdown unit. Manage complex medical equipment and perform specialized nursing procedures for patients with diverse surgical and chronic health needs.
Qualifications
Requires at least 6 months of nursing experience and a current Delaware nursing license or eligibility to obtain one. A BSN is preferred, and BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
