Job summary

The Mechanical Design Engineer designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems for drilling equipment, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and drilling equipment, including fluid-handling and pressure-containing products, using CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical analyses. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and field teams to ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, cost-effectiveness, and safe operations.

Qualifications

CAD Engineering Calculations Industrial Standards Manufacturing Processes Mechanical Design Problem Solving Team Collaboration

Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5–8 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in oil and gas or drilling equipment. Candidates should be proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Creo, understand mechanical design and manufacturing, and be able to perform engineering analyses and apply relevant industry standards.
