Job summary

Seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical and structural design, provide technical leadership, and manage projects in a highly regulated industry such as energy, oil and gas, or construction. The role involves leading engineering teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders using CAD, FEA, and other tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor engineering teams while overseeing the mechanical design process for complex systems from concept to manufacture. Collaborate with stakeholders and manage technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and project requirements.

Qualifications

CAD (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) FEA (ANSYS, STAAD) Manufacturing Tolerances Mechanical Design Piping Design Software Project Management Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment Structural Engineering Team Leadership

Requires a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience in a highly regulated sector, with a preference for a Master's degree and Chartered Engineer status. Candidates must be sole UK nationals eligible for SC security clearance.
