Perform mechanical maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, including preventive, reactive, and shutdown activities, interpreting mechanical drawings, managing spares, and ensuring safety standards are met. The role requires working in a rotating shift pattern, collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers, and contributing to plant efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing both preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance on plant machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and safety. You will manage engineering spares, interpret technical drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

Bench Fitting Cylinders, Sprockets, Pumps, Bearings Hydraulic Systems Inventory Management Mechanical Drawings Mechanical Maintenance Pneumatic Systems PVV activities SAP PM/System Maintenance Welding (MIG and Stick)

Candidates must be apprentice trained or hold a level 3 qualification such as a BTEC, C+G, or NVQ. Experience in heavy industrial environments, proficiency in welding, and knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems are essential.
