Job summary

The Director, Molecular Discovery oversees small molecule drug discovery programs leveraging AI and computational chemistry, ensuring efficient delivery of candidates from hit-to-lead to IND-enabling studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Lead small molecule discovery programs from hit identification to candidate nomination using an autonomous science platform. Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to optimize the discovery engine's throughput, quality, and predictive accuracy.

Qualifications

ADMET AI/ML chemical biology computational chemistry DMPK medicinal chemistry molecular design project management SAR (Structure-Activity Relationship) synthetic tractability

Requires a PhD in medicinal or computational chemistry with over 12 years of experience in drug discovery, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Must possess deep fluency in medicinal chemistry principles and experience with AI/ML-driven molecular design.
