Job summary

The Electromechanical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety and optimal performance. Requires troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, technical documentation interpretation, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Night shift work, working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. They must also execute preventive maintenance programs and document all activities within computerized maintenance systems.

Qualifications

Computer-based maintenance systems Drive troubleshooting Electrical schematics reading HVAC systems Mechanical blueprints reading PLC programming and troubleshooting Precision measuring equipment use Troubleshooting electrical systems Troubleshooting mechanical systems Welding and metalworking

Candidates should have an associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance background preferred. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift are required.
