Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Staff Technical Lead Manager for Behaviors to lead development of behavioral driving solutions, data-driven evaluation, and collaboration with various teams to improve autonomous driving performance and safety.

Responsibilities

You will design and implement horizontal solutions to address behavioral driving issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams in mapping and product. Additionally, you will build quantitative evaluation techniques to drive data-driven development and scale the performance of the Waymo Driver.

Qualifications

API Design C++ Data Analysis Evaluation Techniques Large Dataset Manipulation Machine Learning Motion Planning Perception Robotics SQL

Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field and possess experience with large datasets and complex system design. Proficiency in C++ and SQL is preferred, along with a strong background in autonomous driving domains.
