Flex seeks a Hyperscale Mechanical Engineer to support its transition into a new company, Axiom, focusing on digital infrastructure and power management solutions for AI data centers. The role involves creating mechanical designs, supporting product development cycles, and collaborating across disciplines, primarily in Dundalk, Ireland.

Responsibilities

The Hyperscale Mechanical Engineer will create 3D mechanical designs for switchboards and associated products while ensuring production drawings are accurate and controlled. The role also involves providing technical assistance to production and site operations, as well as conducting client witness testing.

Qualifications

3D CAD Mechanical Design Schematics Reading Sheet Metal Design

Candidates must hold a 3rd level degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and possess experience in a commercial mechanical design role. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor and Vault, is required along with the ability to work effectively within a team.
