Job summary

A registered nurse specialized in interventional spine and pain management assesses patients, supports procedures like injections and nerve blocks, administers medications, monitors sedation, educates patients, and ensures continuity of care throughout treatment stages.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care throughout the interventional spine and pain management procedure process, including pre-procedure assessment and education, intraoperative assistance and sedation monitoring, and post-procedure recovery and discharge. Maintain accurate records, ensure patient safety and sterile practice, manage supplies and equipment, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold an active Illinois RN license; three to five years of nursing experience is preferred. CPR certification is required within 30 days of hire and ACLS certification within 90 days.
