Assist in examination and treatment of patients at urgent care centers, managing patient registration, vital signs, specimen collection, and medical records, under supervision of healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant manages patient check-in, registration, and vital sign collection while assisting providers with examinations and treatments. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, stocking supplies, and performing point-of-care laboratory testing.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a high school diploma and a valid medical assistant certification such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at the time of hire.
