Job summary

The position is for an Imaging Technologist specializing in echocardiography, responsible for producing diagnostic images, verifying physician requests, and performing procedures safely and efficiently. Candidates need registration as a Cardiac Sonographer or eligible for certification within 6 months, with at least an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

The echo sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging procedures in a safe and timely manner. They must review physician orders for appropriateness and produce accurate images for cardiologist interpretation.

Qualifications

Anatomy and Physiology Cardiac Sonography Echocardiography Medical Imaging Ultrasound

Candidates must hold an Associate or Bachelor's degree, BLS certification, and be RCS or RDCS registered or eligible. One year of experience in echo or ultrasound is preferred.
