Job summary

Managing mechanical engineering activities for defense infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment, supporting design, stakeholder collaboration, safety case, and project delivery from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities across major infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to oversee design development, technical assurance, and project delivery from concept through to commissioning.

Qualifications

Design Assurance Hazard Identification HSE Standards Mechanical Engineering Project Lifecycle Knowledge Risk Management Safety Case Development Safety Critical Environments Stakeholder Engagement Technical Review

Requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in safety-critical or high-hazard environments. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is required, with preference for candidates possessing postgraduate qualifications and experience in regulated sectors.
