Job summary

Seeking a compassionate After-Hours/On Call Registered Nurse to assess hospice patients, monitor conditions, educate families, and provide support during end-of-life care in various settings.

Responsibilities

The After-Hours Registered Nurse will assess hospice patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs while monitoring their condition for significant changes. They will also provide education on hospice philosophy and pain management to families and facility staff while offering compassionate support during end-of-life care.

Qualifications

bereavement support communication education nursing pain management patient assessment symptom management

Candidates must hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse and have at least one year of clinical nursing experience. A valid driver's license and the physical ability to lift or transfer patients are also required.
