Job summary

Assist in maintaining cleanliness by cleaning patient bathrooms, rooms, hallways, and laundry at NHC Place. Follow schedules, operate laundry machines, and handle laundry tasks. Must be able to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while managing laundry operations. This includes operating commercial washers and dryers, following cleaning schedules, and ensuring a sanitary environment for patients.

Applicants must be able to read Standard English and follow instructions effectively. The role requires the physical ability to stand for 7-8 hours daily and lift heavy objects, as well as the capacity to work with cleaning chemicals.
